Our sanitisation procedure includes ultrasonic cleaning and then sterilizing our equipment such as manicure and pedicure tools in an autoclave. Ultrasonic cleaners are highly effective as they safely and quickly remove adhering particles that are not easily dislodged by manual scrubbing. In addition, using an ultrasonic machine minimises the risk of injury from points and sharp edges to our staff.
The process of sterilization in an autoclave involves the use of high pressure steam in heat sealed pouches. These pouches are clear on one side, allowing the user to see what is inside, and paper on the other side to allow the steam from an autoclave to penetrate and sterilise the instrument. Sterilisation using an autoclave is known to kill all pathogenic organisms which are responsible for causing disease.
